Spring Cleaning? YWCA Cass Clay to Host Spring Clothing Drive
Support women and children at YWCA when you clean out your closets
FARGO, ND (April 2, 2025) — YWCA Cass Clay is hosting a spring clothing drive to benefit women and children calling YWCA Emergency Shelter home.
For one week only – Monday, April 14 through Friday, April 18 – YWCA is accepting donations of all new and gently-used women’s and children’s clothing items. Donations can be dropped off at YWCA Emergency Shelter, 3000 S University Drive in Fargo, April 14 – 18 between 9am and 6pm.
Items YWCA is especially in need of include: leggings, sweatpants, sweatshirts, cotton t-shirts, athletic wear, sports bras, and pre-teen and teen clothing in all sizes and styles.
On an ongoing basis, YWCA is only able to accept certain clothing items along with a list of specific new and gently-used household, hygiene, and cleaning items. YWCA’s Needs List is updated weekly at ywcacassclay.org/needs.
The community can support YWCA when they drop off donations of items not on YWCA’s Needs List at Savers Community Donation Center™, 1623 38th St SW in Fargo.
Through this approach, YWCA’s team is able to focus on the mission of providing safety, support, and hope to families while receiving critical financial support from Savers for the items the community donates there.
YWCA Cass Clay will host a second clothing drive in early fall. Dates and times for future drives will be announced on YWCA’s website and social media channels.
