Brighten the Holiday Season for a Family in Need
Your holiday giving brings joy at YWCA Emergency Shelter.
Trees, lights, North Pole wish lists, parties, and gifts are just a few ways that we spread joy to our families during the holiday season. YWCA staff work hard to bring festive cheer, but we can’t do it without you.
Here are some ways you can make this season brighter for families in need!
Unique Boutique – December 6, 2019
At our Unique Boutique event in December, YWCA is transformed into a holiday store where women utilizing our services are able to shop for presents for their immediate family members at no cost. This magical event features various gifts to choose from, all generously donated from individuals, organizations, groups, clubs, and churches.
You can help bring this special event to life by donating new gifts for girls, boys, women, and men as well as supplies such as wrapping paper, tape, and tissue paper.
The Unique Boutique Wish List is available here!
We ask that all donations are delivered to YWCA Emergency Shelter (3000 S. University Drive) by Friday, November 29.
If you are interested in volunteering for Unique Boutique, please email email@example.com.
Fill A Home With Hope This Holiday – Donation Drive Oct. & Nov.
Fill A Home With Hope This Holiday is a giving program for our Supportive Housing Program participants.
YWCA currently has 70 apartment units around the community dedicated to providing safety, stability and hope to once-homeless individuals and families, many of whom are survivors of violence, through out Supportive Housing Program. During this season of giving, we invite you to Fill A Home With Hope This Holiday by providing household basics like kitchen items, bedroom decor, bathroom towels and more.
This is a great opportunity for individuals, businesses, clubs and church groups. With your support families will have fully furnished homes this holiday season.
We ask that all donations are delivered to YWCA Emergency Shelter (3000 S. University Drive) as soon as possible.
If you have questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
