Brighten the Holiday Season for a Family in Need
Your holiday giving brings joy at YWCA Emergency Shelter and Housing Programs.
Trees, lights, Santa wish lists, and gifts are just a few ways that we spread joy to our families during the holiday season. YWCA staff work hard to bring festive cheer, but we can’t do it without you, especially this year.
Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, YWCA has made important changes to our holiday events to ensure the safety of our residents, volunteers, and staff.
Check out our incredible events below to see some ways you can make this season brighter for families in need!
At our Unique Boutique event in December, YWCA is typically transformed into a holiday store thanks to the generosity of our community. Women and children utilizing our services then shop for presents for their immediate family at no cost during this magical event.
This year, however, you can help bring this special event to life by donating new gifts for a specific family rather than providing general donations.
Please complete the form below to let us know you are interested in supporting a family, ensuring every parent and child have a gift to open this holiday.
We also understand that not everyone is able to support an entire family, individual gifts are still accepted and will be given to families that arrive at the Shelter after Unique Boutique.
Fill A Home With Hope
Fill A Home With Hope This Holiday is a giving program for our Supportive Housing Program participants. YWCA currently has 70 apartment units in the community dedicated to providing safety, stability, and hope to once-homeless individuals and families, many of whom are survivors of violence.
We invite you to Fill A Home With Hope by providing household basics like kitchen items, bedroom decor, bathroom towels and more.
This is a great opportunity for individuals, businesses, clubs and church groups. With your support families will have fully furnished homes this holiday season.
We ask that all donations are delivered to Grace Garden: A YWCA Supported Residence (1480 16th St E, West Fargo) as soon as possible.
Please pre-schedule a drop-off time for your gifts to ensure time for social distancing and cart sanitation. To arrange a drop-off time, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
