In order to reflect the mission of the YWCA, this program's purpose is to provide comprehensive employment and educational readiness training to YWCA participants in order for them to attain self-sufficiency. The range of services include six two-week Steps to Success workshops per year that address the underlying roots of homelessness and builds on the strengths and talents of the individual. There is weekly educational programming covering a wide variety of topics. These topics include: nutrition, money talks, parenting, rape and abuse, consumer issues, landlord/tenant issues, child support, STD/HIV, substance abuse, and staying healthy.

Education & Employment Program provides individual job counseling, advocacy, and referrals, a closet with interview/work clothes and personal items, resume writing, college tours, and supportive assistance for special needs.
